# Preface

**MintFlow: VPN & HTTPS Capture** is a networking toolkit for iPhone and iPad built around plain-text profiles. Choose a simple output for everyday use or combine VPNs, proxies, DNS policy, and selective routing in one configuration.

Version 2.0.0 moves active packet processing to **VPPRS**, MintFlow's Rust vectorized packet-processing core inspired by fd.io VPP. Older articles describe MintFlow's original VPP implementation; the current Apple products no longer run that legacy core.

## Start here

- [Profile configuration](profile.md): sections, syntax, compilation, and entitlement restrictions.
- [HTTP live capture](howtos/http-live-capture.md): current setup screens and a focused recording workflow.
- [HTTP analysis bundles and MFHRB](howtos/http-analysis-mfhrb.md): export evidence, work with an agent, and import a reviewable rewrite.
- [Experimental Tailscale](howtos/tailscale.md): log in, choose routes or an exit node, and understand Pro trial and Keychain behavior.
- [FAQ](faq.md): profile activation, persistent login, and export privacy.
- [Core Components](core-components.md): internal DNS, secure DNS, ad filtering, and routing priority.
- [Release notes](releasenotes.md) and [all releases](/mintflow/releases/).

MintFlow does not provide VPN or proxy servers. Features and allowances depend on your current entitlement; an eligible active Pro trial provides Pro access for its duration.
