# MintFlow 2.1.0: built-in DNS ad blocking and more proxy choices

Canonical: https://galaxnet.dev/mintflow/releases/2.1.0/
Language: en-US

MintFlow 2.1.0 adds free DNS ad blocking on iPhone and iPad, VLESS and Trojan proxies, domain keyword routing, and Tailscale exit-node profiles.

MintFlow 2.1.0 is available on the [App Store](https://apps.apple.com/us/app/mintflow-vpn-https-capture/id6742394218). This release adds local DNS ad filtering and more ways to connect to your own servers.

## Built-in DNS ad blocking, included Free

Enable **DNS Ad Blocking** in **DNS & Routing** and choose AdGuard DNS filter, HaGeZi Multi Normal, or OISD Small. Initial snapshots are bundled, with automatic updates and manual refresh. It works in Simple Mode and Rules Mode, including with a Direct output and no remote VPN service.

Check domains against the selected list or active tunnel policy. DNS Log can filter by matched rule type, and DNS Runtime shows whether the running filter is ready. Filtering checks DNS names and cannot remove every ad. Read the [short setup guide](/mintflow/articles/dns-ad-blocking/).

## More routing and proxy options

- New `DOMAIN-KEYWORD` rules match literal substrings, in saved keyword order. Domain sets retain priority over keywords; explicit forwarding domain rules bypass ad filtering.
- Pro VLESS over TCP supports REALITY with Vision.
- Pro Trojan supports TCP or WebSocket with TLS. Both new protocols carry TCP; arbitrary UDP forwarding is not included.
- Import supported VLESS, Trojan, VMess, AnyTLS, and Shadowsocks links by pasting, scanning a QR code, or choosing a QR image.

The expanded manual explains [rule priority](/mintflow/manual/core-components/routing-engine/) and [proxy fields](/mintflow/manual/profile/proxies/).

## Profiles, Tailscale, and reliability

Save a preferred Tailscale exit node in the profile while managing live device controls separately. Synced-profile reauthentication and iCloud reconciliation are improved; Tailscale identity remains device-local. See the [Tailscale FAQ](/mintflow/manual/faq/tailscale/).

This update also improves DNS compatibility with unusual names, DNS-filter readiness after profile switches and system-settings starts, and DNS Log scrolling/filter behavior. It fixes packet-buffer leaks during extended use, improves AnyTLS-Go compatibility and imported certificate options, and fixes VMess WebSocket TLS connections to servers without HTTP/2 WebSocket support. A configurable HTTP/2 stream limit is available.

MintFlow provides networking tools, not VPN or proxy servers. Next development work focuses on macOS; future platform plans will be shared when ready.
